Printing

Together with our partner we are offering an industrial scale 3D and 2D Dye Diffusion solutions which can be applied to a wide variety of substrates. These range from solutions for bespoke ‘one-off’ type production, to solutions for mass-production environments on different substrates e.g. wood, glass, metal, plastic and fabrics for a range of industrial sectors.

3D Dye Diffusion is the sophisticated process of ‘printing’ a digital image via a carrier film onto a flat or three-dimensional object. The process uses a complex combination of pulsed infra-red heat, time and vacuum pressure to wrap a specialised film with digitally printed image around an object and transferring the image dyes into the object.

One key benefit of the technology is that products do not need to be manufactured with a standard printed image on them. Instead, decorative images can be added after manufacture through the dye diffusion process uniquely. This provides product manufacturers and retailers with far greater flexibility than the traditional and high cost manufacturing processes for products with decorative images, also allowing them to quickly produce samples and respond to market demands.

Out technology can be used on a wide variety of substrates including fabric, wood, metal, polymers, ceramics and glass and is applicable for a wide range of industries.
